Who We AreThe Cisco Security Innovation team incubates ideas for the leading provider of network security services, which enables the world to connect with confidence on any device, anywhere, anytime. We are seeking a strong SRE engineer who can handle and maintain our SaaS delivery infrastructure for 24/7 uptime. You will be collaborating with engineering leaders across our business group in helping define, improve and maintain our SaaS services against enterprise-grade SLAs, security standards and monitoring best practices..Who You AreYou are an innovative SRE engineer with experience in securing CI/CD pipelines, and an interest in making an impact in the field of network security. You are comfortable in design discussions with other architects and engineers. You can present designs and solutions to multiple teams across organizations, gathering feedback that will help us drive consensus and gain alignment. You are not afraid to be creative, use innovative programming, technologies, and tools to drive groundbreaking new products.What You Will DoYou will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry on building out Cisco’s Hypershield solution. You are an expert with technologies such as AWS suite of services, Terraform and automation with Jenkins/Github Actions, ArgoCD, O11y Dashboards, alerting technologies, etc. You will manage and maintain our CI/CD pipelines that deliver our SaaS applications continuously to public cloud. We work in an agile, “startup-style” environment with minimal bureaucracy. You will be part of a small team driving the next evolution of security at Cisco, and must be able to work under minimal direction.Required Experience:BA/BS Degree and 7+ years of experience4+ years in a DevOps or SRE roleAdvanced experience with AWS / Cloud services, Terraform & Automation, GitHub actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, alerting and monitoring, logging, Kubernetes and container management, secret management, etc.Desired Experience:Prior experience with CI/CD infrastructure for large-scale SaaS microservice deployments to public cloudScripting and tooling with a strong focus on securityWorking as part of a remote or distributed teamProficiency in administering Linux environmentsWhy Cisco Secure?#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique.
