Role Purpose: 


As core team member of growing DP World GSC People Function, the incumbent will play crucial role in building the Talent channels and targeted talent pool diversity for Dubai Drydocks World (DDW) business in GSC mainly for Engineering, Procurement related hiring for Oil and Gas, Offshore Business Unit for high value complex projects. The person will drive end-to-end niche Talent Acquisition & Attraction; coordinate with vendor partner / talent channels; targeted drives / campus engagements; support employer branding across external / diversity forums.  Further the incumbent will partner with GSC senior service line leaders to embed functional internal Talent mobility & employee referrals.  We envisage the person to come with seasoned experience in TAA domain in Offshore industry with high sense of ownership, result orientation & ability to influence stakeholders across the organization 


Designation: Senior Specialist - Talent Acquisition & Attraction – Global Service Centre 


Base Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai


Reporting to: Manager - Talent Acquisition & Attraction - Global Service Centre 


Key Role Responsibilities:


  • Part take in development and implementation of Talent Acquisition strategies aligned with the organization's goals and growth ambitions 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leaders / global stakeholders to understand talent needs and develop recruitment plans to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build and enhance relationships with external hiring partners / agencies, job boards/ social media, campus, diversity forums and other talent sources to enhance organization's reach in Offshore industry 
  • Own the entire hiring candidate experience including system workflows - job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, offer negotiation & closures
  • Develop and encourage internal channels in coordination with GSC TAA team – employee referrals, IJPs, hiring drives, etc 
  • Responsible for weekly status reporting on open positions in scope; own and present related MIS reports / TAA dashboard 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Collaborate with the larger HR team to develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Skills & Competencies: 


  • At least 7-10 years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition & Attraction in Offshore EPC Industry (Oil & Gas, Ship Yards) with ability to be HANDS-ON.  
  • Seasoned exposure in hiring Engineering and Procurement roles across the hierarchy in Offshore EPC industry. 
  • Self-starter with high result orientation
  • Ability to multitask & work in dynamic fast-paced Global Service Centre (GSC) environment or  rapid scale ups
  • Holistic TAA experience hiring across hierarchy – job boards, referrals, early careers, targeted drives, social media hiring, ATS.
  • Stakeholder management skills, including ability to coordinate & influence across the hierarchy 
  • Analytical & data reporting skills enabling meaningful conversations / decisions.

Education & Qualifications: 


  • Degree in Human Resources from good pedigree B-School preferred OR MBA in HR preferred.
