Our data forms the basis for crucial decisions made by the largest entertainment companies, both nationally and globally. We create the official music charts in 10 countries and present the German No. 1 Music Award. We compile top lists for all major gaming platforms, and we are active in the video streaming and book markets. And at the earliest opportunity, we are looking for you as a Software Engineer to maintain and further develop existing ETL processes, always keeping in mind that the processes must be high-performance. The tasks include data-IN, passing the data to subsequent processes and creating tools that simplify the handling of the data for the specialist departments. This requires a good knowledge of handling large amounts of data and the technical possibilities within the IBMi environment.
Key accountablilities
Learning our Entertainment Business.
Optimization of existing processes.
Ability to familiarize yourself with existing processes and optimize them independently in close cooperation with the product owners.
Close collaboration with other teams of the entertainment entity such as data warehouse, web development and data scientists
Creating new ETL processes.
3 years+ in develop backend services on IBMi platforms.
2 years+ in RPGLE software development with RDi
Skills
Essential:
Free RPGLE with embedded SQL
CL Programming
SQL – Advanced including Stored Procs/Procedural SQL for IBMi DB2
Highly Useful:
Knowledge of FTP automation on IBMi
Good knowledge of IFS and NFS on IBMi
