QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of overall software development experience with focus on web technologies with 3+ years of building applications on ServiceNow
- Strong expertise to integrate securely between systems by writing and utilizing Web Services and other APIs
- Hands-on experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications and working on ServiceNow platform capabilities like UI Builder, ACLs and scoped applications
- Good understanding and experience of Full stack technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Good understanding and experience implementing modern and responsive SPA web applications using one or more of the following, TypeScript, AngularJS, React, Redux, Bootstrap or modern open-source web frameworks
- Proficient in data manipulation and working with databases both relational and non-relational
- Good understanding and experience with developing secure, robust, stable and scalable code including advanced concepts such as OOP
- Work within an agile/scrum environment is highly desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
- Experience leading and influencing products with customer focus in collaborative environments
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
- Comfortable working in a team and highly collaborative environment
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written

You will be based in India and be part of our global software engineering community in the Tech Ecosystem function. You will be working with an existing experienced team/squad consisting of a product manager, UX designer, software engineering lead and software engineers. You will help deliver the best user experience through enterprise services to our McKinsey colleagues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will enable the digital transformation of internal services across the firm optimizing for performance, driving efficiencies via automation, and create a modern, consistent, and integrated experience for colleagues as they use internal services.
In this role, you will design, develop and support highly scalable, responsive web applications and services on top of our service management (ServiceNow) platform. You will produce high quality code that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration. You will build reusable code and libraries for future use.
You will also engage with our world-class engineering and program teams to build products and solutions. You will be collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other disciplines to identify what will be most critical to the success of a product, what it should feel like to interact with a product or service across multiple touch points, and define how we bring the experience into reality.
