How You’ll Spend Your Days
• Planning, developing, testing, and deploying new applications and features for custom e-learning game authoring platform while ensuring the solutions are built in sound and scalable ways for multiple platforms
• Supporting and maintaining existing code/applications/libraries
• Taking initiative to increase the performance of applications
• Collaborating on technical solutions with an internal multi-functional team as well as external clients
• Digging into existing solutions to troubleshoot and support peers and clients
• Documenting and sharing knowledge to other team members
What We Need From You
• Minimum of 4 years of solid hands-on experience in developing web-based applications
• Proficient in ASP.Net., C#, MVC, Web APIs, WCF, SQL Server 2008 and above, PHP, Web Services
• Must be detail oriented, goal driven, and have a strong sense of responsibility
• Must be self-motivated and have strong verbal/written communication skills
• Good task and time management skills
• Ability to read, understand, work with, and expand other people’s code
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience with version control systems (preferably git)
• A commitment to staying up on the latest web standards
• Strong understanding of relational database design
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
• A commitment to producing high quality, error-free work
Bonus Points
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), Content Management system (CMS) and SCORM
• Proficiency with Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience in UI development (JavaScript, Responsive HTML/CSS)
