Senior software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create data visualizations and transform data into dashboard/report outputs
• Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources 
• Confirm accuracy of report outputs from DBA team leveraging the end PowerBI report  
• Recommend Lake/PBI cube transformation revisions to optimize data accuracy for use in reporting efforts
• Maintain reports and work with DBA team to troubleshooting issues to maximize accuracy
• Maintain/update excel sources leveraged to support data transformation
• Debug technical issues wth reports/data when they arise
• Recommend and Optimize PBI Dashboard logic 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• 3-5+ years experience with PowerBI visualization, DAX programming, and Query Editor (M)
• knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus
• Expert Knowledge of SQL programming language
• Excellent technical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience working with large databases
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail
  

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's / Masters Degree preferably in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Finance is desired but not required
