Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead and facilitate Agile practices within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of leading teams toward continuous improvement, optimizing workflows, and enhancing collaboration among stakeholders. As a senior member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our Agile culture and driving high-performance outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration and productive meetings.
Remove Impediments: Identify and proactively address obstacles that hinder team progress, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement solutions.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and effective communication, ensuring project goals are met.
Track and Report Progress: Monitor sprint progress and team performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders utilizing project management tools like Jira for transparency and accountability.
Ensure Quality and Efficiency: Promote and implement best practices in Agile development to enhance team performance, product quality, and delivery speed.
Support Team Self-Organization: Cultivate an environment that encourages self-organization among teams, empowering members to take ownership of their work and fostering accountability.
Technical Skills:
Agile Methodologies: Expert proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software Development, and XP practices, with extensive practical experience leading Agile transformations.
Project Management Tools: In-depth experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Teams, Asana, Confluence, and Slack.
Continuous Integration (CI): Strong knowledge of CI practices to ensure code quality takes precedence across development processes.
Value Stream Mapping: Advanced ability to visualize and optimize workflows to eliminate inefficiencies and drive value delivery.
Test-Driven Development (TDD): Proficient in TDD methodologies to ensure robustness in development and reduce defect rates.
Technical Debt Management: Skilled in identifying, managing, and prioritizing technical debt to ensure system scalability and maintain performance.
UX/UI Integration: Proven experience in aligning UX/UI tasks with development priorities for seamless integration of user experience design into Agile practices.
Experience: At least 8+ years of experience in Agile coaching, scrum mastering, or related roles, with a solid understanding of software development practices and team dynamics.
