Role: Senior Salesforce Solution Technical Specialist  – COE Salesforce


Number of positions: 1


Description:


At Airbus, Salesforce is our Customer Relationship Management platform across the whole group (3 divisions), addressing the end to end customer experience and sales funnel and building our customer 360 degree view.  It is at the heart of our customer centric transformation and is strategic for the future of our company.  As the platform grows, we are looking for a technical team lead to continue building the team in India (7 persons) and support them to achieve our ambitions on the platform.  If you are passionate about salesforce products, a genuine driver towards standard solutions, and an experienced team leader used to managing a team of admins to optimise teamwork and achieve results, join the team to drive digital customer centric transformation throughout our organisation.  


You will be part of an international team, organised in agile mode.  The team is responsible for ensuring that the technical platform activities are performed on time and on quality, and that the platform configurations and developments are done within the scope of the sprints.  As the platform is at the premises of industrialisation, you will be expected to be the instigator of initiatives to improve the technical platform management to expected levels.


As a Senior Salesforce Technical Solution Specialist, you will:


  • Define the roadmap for the Salesforce product vision and work towards its implementation.


  • Work on Salesforce new initiatives and work on its proof of concept solutions with a plan of action to execute those new opportunities.


  • Liaise with Salesforce latest capabilities and release updates and work on its impact assessment with a plan of action to showcase to the Business on its availability and its adoption.


  • Ready to work on the ground level in terms of the technical tasks as part of various salesforce applications.


  • Support and guide the team towards the best technical designs & solutions for configuration and development, with standard Salesforce at the forefront of everything.


  • Define and monitor processes that will allow the team to perform all technical platform activities on time and on quality.


  • Ensure that the technical platform activities (such as certificate management, release and security notifications, platform monitoring & L3 support) are well documented, scheduled and performed.   


  • Be accountable for the team activities and ensure that reporting is correctly done, becoming the privileged point of contact for the team


  • Participate in the more global design authority to present designs for validation


  • Will bring propositions to the table on how to securely integrate Salesforce with other solutions used in the Airbus IT Ecosystem


  • Raise alerts when there are difficulties within the local team

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, with 4-5 years of experience in Salesforce administration


PRIMARY Skills- Primary skills, experience required for this role


Integrated into the CRM team and under the guidance of the division manager:


  • Designing Salesforce product vision and the plan of action for the implementation.


  • Propose and work on the latest Salesforce capabilities and Salesforce releases for the better adoption to add business value.


  • Ready to work on the Salesforce technical tasks by leading the team from the technical front with technical mentorship and proof of concepts for the various salesforce solutions.


  • To work on Salesforce integration, architectural and platform related activities.


  • Streamline the Salesforce implementation process framework as per the recommended industry standards for the release, deployment to fit into the overall agile framework of execution.


  • Effective coordination with all the stakeholders on the timely collaboration across the globe with a liason of international teams.


  • Proven experience of designing, building and deploying Salesforce solutions (Sales cloud & Services and Community).


  • Leading a technical team to achieve results and report back to the project team


  • Maintaining the Salesforce application in good operational condition


  • Provide level 3 support: user support, processing anomalies and requests, monitoring corrections, loading data by Dataloader at the request of the business


  • In charge of managing releases in Agile mode with TMA, delivering versions every sprint in line with the way of working defined for this product.


  • Manage an agile dev team to optimise development tasks and platform activities based on team skills and personal learning objectives.


  • Prefer standard solutions to specific ones


GOOD TO HAVE - Any additional expertise or knowledge of additional Salesforce module but not mandatory


  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce security options and architecture would be a real plus.


  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge and experience (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector)


  • Strong SalesCloud lightning & Community knowledge, others Salesforce modules would be a plus


  • Knowledge of Aircraft systems would be a plus


  • Advanced level of English
