Senior Salesforce Developer & Integration Specialist

Job Summary:


We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer & Integration Specialist with a strong background in Force.com development and integration projects. The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and 4+ years in integration development. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce administration, Apex development, and experience with external integrations using REST API.


Software Requirements:


  • Proficient in Force.com development, including Apex, Triggers, and batch classes.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, including Profiles, Roles, and Data Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration of external applications via REST API.
  • Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Lightning Migration, Payment Gateway, and Lightning components.

Overall Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality Salesforce solutions in alignment with business requirements.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
  • Build, test, and deploy scalable and reusable Apex code following best practices.
  • Take ownership of project assignments and foster strong client relationships.
  • Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate security measures within Salesforce.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver project milestones on time and within scope.

Category-wise Technical Skills:


  • Salesforce Development: Force.com development (Apex, Triggers, Batch Classes)


  • Integration Development: REST API for external application integration


  • Salesforce Administration: Profiles, Roles, and Data Security


  • Certifications:


    • Salesforce PD1/Developer certification (mandatory)
    • Salesforce Administrator certification (mandatory)
    • Salesforce PD2 certification (preferred)
  • Modules: Sales Cloud, Lightning Migration, Payment Gateway, Lightning components


Experience:


  • Minimum of 8+ years in Force.com development.
  • At least 4+ years of integration development experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering Salesforce solutions in a professional environment.

Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Develop and test new Salesforce features and build integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Maintain documentation for code, processes, and configurations.
  • Communicate directly with end users and customers to gather feedback and validate requirements.

Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Salesforce are mandatory.

Soft Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with business users.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Confident in customer interactions without supervision.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
