Job Description
Job Summary
Provides customer satisfaction through quality related involvement. Will support and meet the objectives and goals of Quality Engineering and the Oragadam Facility. Provide training and leadership for Corrective Action Teams and Work Groups. Maintain ISO 9001 Quality Systems and requirements. Provide the liaison between Quality Engineering and other departments in support of quality and manufacturing initiatives. This is to include resolution of ETO panel quality issues, data support, correction, corrective, and preventative action. Ensure Good through familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct.
Your Responsibilities:
- Guide Quality improvements continually to achieve manufacturing quality KPI target
- Maintain Quality System processes and procedures to make sure to meet ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 and headquarter requirements
- Manage Customer and third-party audits and follow the CA/PAs to close
- Responsible for conducting internal audits & ensure all QMS strength of organization
- Manage customer complaints and responsible for implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Provide problem solving (root cause failure analysis) and corrective action services to Operation processes
- Analyze field return information for areas of quality improvement if needed
- Manage incoming inspection team, make sure inspections are done on timely manner
- Provide Quality Engineering technical evaluation with Design of Experiments and Process Capability studies.
- Take the role of MRB coordinator to manage incoming & manufacturing process defects.
- Review and Approve Deviation Authorizations
- Take the role of quality continuous improvement & process excellence
- Provide the quality analysis activities and draft the Weekly/Monthly reports for key issues
- Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.InterpersonalTracks and reports on department activities to various levels throughout the Company.As the interface with customer, get customer requirement and transmit to plant.Coordinate internal resource to solve manufacturing process quality issue. LeadershipSupports Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP), Lean/Six sigma, and 5 S initiativesTeam member/leader of pilot, early production, standard products as well as legacy products.Create Top 5 reports and facilitate meetings for Assembly & Fabrication Depts.Interface with engineering groups, customers and suppliers on quality related issues
The Essentials - You Will Have
- B.E – Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 10 years experience
- Command of the English Language – oral and written
- ISO 9001,14001,45001 – Lead auditor
- Exposure on Lean / Six Sigma
- You will report to Quality Manager
