We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our technology team at Clarivate. We are looking for someone who has good experience with web application testing, REST API testing and backend application testing. We have a great skill set in the team and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in testing different types of applications.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience.
At least 3 years of Manual and Automation testing experience working in different domains/applications under agile methodology.
Working knowledge on Functional testing, Non-Functional testing, Web application testing, API testing, Backend application testing, DB testing, Regression Testing, End-to-End Testing etc.
Working knowledge of Test Planning and design, Test case development, Defect Tracking and management
Proficiency in programming language (Java/Python)
Good Understanding of Test Automation Frameworks (POM, Data Driven Testing, Selenium, Serenity, Playwright, JMeter)
Good Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Code Management (GIT), Test Data Management, API Testing Tools (Postman/SoapUI), Cloud based Platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
It would be great if you also had experience with. . .

What will you be doing in this role?
Provides input for the planning, integration, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project.
Provides the complete Test planning document for assigned project.
Reviews business requirements and designs specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability.
Develops, writes, and maintains the test plans, develops test cases for the assigned JIRA stories/bugs/tasks.
Conducts testing using company-specific, manual, programmatic or automated processes. Executes test cases and communicates the results of testing.
Provides inputs and escalates issues in bug triage meetings and coordinates with development team if required under the guidance of the Lead.
Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or problems of moderate complexity.
About the Team
The existing team is spread across India and includes Testers with strong technical and analytical skills. We have a great skill set in Java, Selenium, Python, C#, HTML5, Web API, SQL and JavaScript, to name a few of the Tools and technologies.
You would be part of large QA Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP.
This is permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break.
