Role Description
- HR IT, a global technology group of Deutsche Bank’s technology organization, is responsible to provide IT services for the Global HR Function for DB.
- The role is a part of the HR-IT technology landscape to work in the Talent Value Stream.
- Candidate will work as the QA Engineer for the value stream and will be working in Agile Philosophy.
- Candidate will be a member of cross-functional IT delivery team that includes business analysts, developers and testers.

Your key responsibilities
- Build and maintain regression automation tests from testing requirements.
- Follow in sprint automation by complying the best practices of QA automation.
- Follow automation scripting guidelines and develop reusable and maintainable automation code.
- Schedule automation scripts based on Release cycles.
- Identify gaps between manual and automated tests, continuously improve the automation coverage
- Keep up to date and be knowledgeable about the latest tools, techniques and technologies in automated software quality assurance
- Maintaining testing standards and ensure that they adhered to, as well as proactively trying to add these standards whenever possible.
- Support all phases of testing like FT, SIT and UAT
Your skills and experience
Must Have:
- Candidate must have 5+ years of proven experience as a QA automation tester.
- Candidate must have 9+ years of experience overall.
- Candidate should be familiar with writing SQL scripts.
- Excellent communication and debugging skills
- Good programming skills in Java
- Hands on experience in building hybrid automation frameworks, Behaviour Driven Development, Cucumber frameworks
- Good knowledge in API automation, non-functional and functional especially in contract testing
- Good knowledge in Selenium
- Good Knowledge of the following: HP ALM, JIRA
- Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs
- Experience writing automated end to end tests spanning the whole system from front end to the backend/database.
- Experience in working with source control tools: GIT/Bitbucket
- Familiar with Unix and experience writing shell scripts.
- Worked in Agile setup and know various agile ceremonies.
- Ability to work at the global level in a cross-cultural and diverse operating environment
- Result-orientated and able to deliver under tight timelines
- Ability to successfully resolve conflicts in a globally matrix-driven organization
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks
