What you will doContribute in the implementation of the highly scalable smart building technology components which include application code development, middleware development, database design, web services development, and associated Java services.The engineer will implement the various pieces of the architecture and thus have a direct impact on delivering the smart building components on-time, within budget and in accordance to the defined architectural vision and performance expectations.Analyze complex issues and modify working methods in own discipline. Strong analytical skills are essential.No direct reports;Under general supervision; ability to exercise judgment. Must work effectively with a Team Lead/Architect and implement the features as directed by the Team Lead/Architect. Must be self-motivated and a "self-starter"The engineer is responsible to deliver high quality applications that meet the needs of the different Johnson Controls verticals. Must proactively identify and react to changing technical and business requirements.
