Senior Project Manager - TPO Team
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with over 17 years of experience in project or portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading project managers, fostering excellent client relationships, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Proficiency in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is preferred. This role demands a proactive approach to conflict management, prioritization of tasks, and addressing systemic issues raised by Technical Product Owners (TPOs) efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Cultivate excellent client-facing skills to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Proactively communicate with team members and external stakeholders, addressing conflicts and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Understand and represent the technical challenges faced by the team, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage pressure from clients without compromising team morale, effectively escalating issues when necessary.
- Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and others to streamline processes.
- Work collaboratively with teams, even during resource constraints, to ensure project success and maintain productivity.
Qualifications:
- 17+ years of experience in project and portfolio management, with a focus on leading project managers.
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage conflicts and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with any project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Atlassian suite etc.
- Understanding of technical aspects to effectively represent team challenges to senior stakeholders. Technical background in development or testing would be an added advantage.
