Amazon Business is seeking a driven, strategic, and customer-centric Sr. Program Manager to work with Business Development, Professional Services, Sales, Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Tech teams to drive adoption for our suite of integration focused products. You will have a high impact opportunity to serve business enterprise customers by program managing a global portfolio of products and solutions.
You will manage the regular status updates for our entire integration portfolio to senior leadership. You will own the overall program communication and be at the center of it all. You will bring a strong blend of technical breadth and program management skills to own process development and execution. You will be agile in constantly assessing and adapting our execution processes to match the growth of the business and maturity of the program.
This position is high visibility, requires a high level attention to detail and strong judgment; it also offers broad exposure to a vast cross-section of business and technical teams within Amazon. As the ideal candidate you will need to be natural at building partnerships, and be comfortable interacting with senior management on day to day basis on status, risks and change control. You are well-organized, can manage many projects simultaneously, and are intellectually curious. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid business environment with shifting priorities all the while removing ambiguity and driving clarity of thought. You are a life-long learner with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with several global teams to develop and execute adoption strategies for Amazon Business integration products and features
• Work cross-functionally with a diverse set of Amazon teams including Business Development, Professional Services, Sales, Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Tech teamsto deliver on shared goals
• Identify blockers and address through creative problem solving and effectively escalating across all levels in the company when required
• Develop appropriate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting mechanisms to track progress to goals and provide customer insights
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of Business strategy or Non-Tech Program Management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 7+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
- 7+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters Degree/MBA
- Advanced experience in analysis, planning, data analysis, and reporting
- Advanced Expertise with business applications, especially in Excel
- Experience delivering programs for large, cross-functional audiences
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Comfort and proven track record of results in ambiguous business environments
- Demonstrate ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization through strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
- Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to uncover project requirements, recommend alternative approaches, and lead efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, especially when defining and driving project requirements
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation
- Global program management experience preferred
