Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership: Define and own the product roadmap for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, balancing business priorities with technical feasibility and user needs.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders (marketing, customer service, IT, etc.) to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and prioritize backlog items for the development team.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce Marketing Cloud-related initiatives, ensuring effective communication between cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and IT.
Platform Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for email marketing, customer journeys, audience segmentation, and personalized campaigns.
Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog based on business needs, technical considerations, and resource availability.
Agile Methodology: Work in an Agile environment to plan, track, and deliver incremental updates to the platform, ensuring quick wins and value delivery.
User Experience & Adoption: Advocate for user-centered design principles to enhance user experience and adoption of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools among the marketing team.
Performance Analysis: Monitor platform performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide recommendations for improvements based on data and insights from marketing campaigns.
Training & Support: Provide guidance and support to users on best practices for utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud features effectively.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its capabilities (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Automation Studio, etc.).
Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing automation, campaign management, customer segmentation, and email marketing best practices.
Agile/Scrum Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment with the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve marketing campaign effectiveness.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Project Management: Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Salesforce Certifications (Preferred): Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, or other relevant certifications.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in which a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Proven experience in a product management or business analysis role within a digital marketing or technology environment.
