The Regulatory Strategy team confronts these risks and works to shape a more sustainable future of work in Last Mile delivery.
The person hired into this role will work with local business leaders and partner teams to identify and execute on regulatory and public policy initiatives. To successfully navigate through this role and its responsibilities, this person should have prior experience working on regulatory issues, preferably in Last Mile.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with partner teams (e.g., Legal, Public Policy, Public Relations) and regional business leaders to develop recommendations on regulatory and policy initiatives.
- Study the regulatory and policy environment for Amazon Last Mile businesses in existing and new regions.
- Set up mechanisms to accurately track and report on regulatory and policy developments worldwide.
- Work with partner and business teams to deliver products and features that address new regulatory requirements.
- Work with partner teams to develop communication toolkit, reports, and educational material to support regional regulatory and policymaker engagement.
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
