Sr. Product Manager, Cards

Adyen is looking for a passionate Product Manager to bring our payment proposition for Card Payment Methods in India to a new standard. This includes payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Rupay. This role will be given considerable freedom to advocate for building the best emerging payment technology, local  and improving upon existing, working with a team of product managers to prioritize and scale our offering.

What you’ll do

• You'll focus on enhancing and scaling card-based payment methods in India, a key market for Adyen globally.
• You'll use your product sense to identify and take on a broad problem set where you’ll take on end to end responsibility for; solutioning and taking an approach that focuses on value, impact, and execution.
• You'll lead prioritization and planning to shape India’s product roadmap, working closely with other PM’s, commercial, support, and development teams.
• You’ll speak to our (global) customers, understand their challenges, prioritize solutions and collaborate with internal teams across Adyen to bring products to market successfully. Always while remaining flexible to changes and reprioritisation.
• You'll lead projects, work with engineers and get hands-on with technical work as needed.

Who you are

• You have 7-10 years in Product Management for software companies within the Payments or Financial Technology space and have launched and scaled products with quantifiable value
• You ideally have 4+ years of experience in the Payments domain, are familiar with Card Payment Methods and have a point of view on how they are evolving, especially in the Indian market
• You have experience creating a product vision, strategy and forming a roadmap around it
• You are skilled in listening to customers, engineers, and partners to identify problems that Adyen can uniquely solve.
• You have outstanding technical and analytical skills, and are not afraid to dive into complex, technical subjects.
• You are experienced in structuring, delivering, and communicating project plans within cross-functional teams, including analysts and software engineers. And on top of that: you can execute!

This role is based out of our Bengaluru office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
