Responsible for the new product development
Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs
Responsible for develop, conduct and analyze research and development studies
Development of 3D models of the various products as per requirements in SolidWorks or other similar Modelling software and conduct appropriate strength FEA analysis, CFD analysis etc… as required.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods;testing finished- product and system capabilities
Responsible for making improvements or updates to existing design and development standards.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, assembling, and installing components.
Setup Mechanical Structural design and strength analysis processes and train designers.
Work closely with Engineers to implement your designs at a high degree of quality
Set up Root Cause Analysis, DFMEA process for effective design practices to set up the best product design framework and approach.
Maintains system and product database.
Secondary
Product Trials support for the company.
Support recruitment by coordinating Technical Rounds for screening candidates
Writing research papers and publications
Responsible for comparative Study and research on Product and Sub assemblies
Responsible for Manufacturer and Procurement Vendors development and listing
Standardize already existing design files as per appropriate Metric International standards and implement across all designs
Skills:
Strong proven experience in core Mechanical system designs with experience in strength analysis, static, dynamics from components to full assembly.
Working in the full life cycle of product development by closing working with BD,R&D, Production, QA,Clients.
Experience with manufacturing processes
Proven experience in leading Product Designers
Knowledge and experience with utilization of CAD/3-D Modeling Software
Added Advantage
Experience in CFD(steady state), Thermodynamics etc…
Experience of working with start-ups
Experience of working in Marine Robotics sectors
Experience
8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Systems and product designing
