Our analytics team works in a number of areas, supporting our key clients globally as well as transforming internal processes. We deliver predictive analytics as a service. We implement data-base and data-hosting solutions. We develop platforms for our clients and our teams to access and interact with their data. We create the right data architecture to achieve the best possible insights. Our clients also love the insights we provide through our dashboarding solutions.
We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Senior Consultant – Power BI Lead to work on our projects in Bangalore.
Role accountabilities:
Experience in developing, maintaining, publishing and supporting dashboards using Power BI.
· Have good Experience in SSAS tabular model and DAX, sound knowledge in partitions, processing optimizations.
· Experience in implementing static, dynamic row level security both in Power BI & SSAS Tabular model.
· Expertise in R powered Power BI visuals and custom visuals would be an added advantage.
· Expertise in bringing BIM models into Power BI would be an added advantage.
· Strong experience in publishing dashboards to Power BI service, using Power BI gateways, Power BI Report Server & Power BI Embedded.
· Very strong on database concepts, data modelling, stored procedures, complex query writing, performance optimization of SQL queries.
· Experience in Analytics (diagnostic, predictive & prescriptive), data architecture, big data, database
· Experience in manipulating, transforming, and analysing data sets that are large and complex.
· Experience across a range of digital technologies.
· Experience of data architecture and big data / databases.
· Incorporates, integrates, and interfaces technical knowledge with business / systems requirements.
· Understanding of all aspects of an implementation project including, but not limited to planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, conversions, system testing, cutover and production support.
· Produce written deliverables for requirement specifications and support documentation: process mapping, meeting minutes, glossaries, data dictionary, technical design, system testing and implementation activities.
· Collect and organize data, data warehouse reports, spreadsheets and databases for analytical reporting.
· Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data and investigate data issues in source systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Math/Statistics or related discipline
· Experience required: 7-10 years
· Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
Required Competencies;
· Strong abilities in analytics, statistics and scripting
· Knowledge of robotic process automation and web/sharepoint/platform development is highly desirable
· Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development.
· Experience in R, Python, Power-BI, Tableau, Click, SQL, RDBMS, NoSQL, UIPath or other RPA software, C#, .Net, Java
· Skills in dashboarding, scripting (R, Python) and databases are fundamental.
· Interest in Robotic Process Automation and other programming languages is highly desirable.
· Experience in basic statistical methodology: e.g. clustering and testing, predictive modelling (e.g. decision trees, regressions)
· Knowledge of, machine learning would also be beneficial, but not essential.
· Ability to communicate your analysis with clarity and precision. An ideal candidate would have a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives.
· Hands-on experience building data dashboards using BI viz. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js or any
· Experience in cloud platforms, preferably Azure (Data Factory, Data Bricks)
· Effective at communicating verbally and through documentation to technical colleagues.
· Effective at communicating with stakeholders across the business, from executive briefings to end user training.
· Expertise in working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
· Strong experience in SQL,-SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.
· Experience building mathematical models in Excel, Python, R, or Matlab.
