The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with experience in Mobile Test Automation to help us build our capabilities for internal testing and tooling. As an experienced and entrepreneurial QA Tester, you will support our efforts to make diabetes suck less. You will primarily be working in a global set-up with teams in India, Austria, and Spain. Your area of expertise should concentrate on mobile applications with some familiarity with front-end/ backend technologies.
As the Quality Engineer , you are responsible for:
Drive vision and strategy for early and late-stage mobile app testing.
Collaborate with a global team of QA Test Engineers.
Identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects using problem-solving skills.
Provide innovative testing solutions by working closely with all company areas.
Test and manage a robust front/backend for user data.
Enhance testing efficiency, security, and reliability.
Achieve and improve key performance indicators for software testing excellence.

Who You Are:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent preferably with at least 4 years of experience in software QA test teams, including proactive collaboration with Agile delivery and global operational teammates
Passionate about bug hunting - you enjoy exploring all parts of our products and features to find possible issues before our users
Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
Proficiency with tools like Slack/JIRA/Confluence/Trello
Great written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient in hosting services (e.g., AWS, Browser Stack) and experienced in automated test scripting with tools like TestNG, JUnit, Appium, and Selenium would be a great bonus to have
Experience in a tech startup culture with medical devices or in the healthcare domain would be an advantage
