Job Role

•    Help users and business owners to formulate ideas, consult and propose feasible alternatives to required ideas and solutions.
•    Define / customize the process to meet the business needs. 
•Optimise the existing process to achieve the efficient results. 
•Assist business owners in translating their needs into clear, consistent and correct functional and non-functional requirements in Work Requests and Projects.
•Assist product owners in definition of user stories in agile projects.
•Drive technology assessments of business ideas and delivery of consolidated feedback (outline proposed solution, complexity, cost estimate, dependencies, timelines, limitations, …).
•Elicit business requirements gathering, clarification and revision of requirements vs solutions.
•Managing and resolving conflicts in scope.
•Act as a Single Point of Contact for internal teams to clarify requirements and validate feasibility (solution proposals, compliance matrix), help with target design solution, delivery, and acceptance.
•Explain technical possibilities, limitations, decisions and approaches to tech solutions.
•Support Business departments, project team members during whole Work Request or Project lifecycle, resolve scope issues in running activities
•As a software developer / programmer, you will have the ability to create and maintain your own IT test & development environment.
•You will work with the latest supported and available IT-tools and can expect support from many contributing technical teams.
•You will develop, upgrade, patch, maintain OSS-tools which are used to support Vodafone´s network operations teams.
•You will document the work you have done, follow ITIL processes, create test cases, drive user acceptance testing, hand over to operations.


Core competencies, knowledge, and experience [max 5]:


•Good hands-on experience on network inventory systems and solution designing skills. 
•Database experience in SQL, Oracle, MySQL etc.
•Programming/scripting experience in Python, Perl, Shell, Java / Java script.
•Log analysis & troubleshooting knowledge,
•System integration experience on EMS/NMS and any OSS inventory systems. 
•Sound knowledge of telecom ( IP, SDN, NFV)
•To be aware about Network management technologies (OSS(EMS/NMS), TMF Open API, Netconf, Confd, Yang, RESTCONF, JSON , YAML).
•Knowledge of CI/CD and microservices based architecture, ideally hands on.
•Well versed with Agile methodology & DevOps tools.
•Understanding of wireless communications systems (GSM/LTE/NR),SON and Network automation concepts.
