Job Summary


The position is for a Manager - ESG Reporting for CSRD Reporting team within Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) team.


• This role is responsible for managing a diverse team supporting implementation of most burdensome regulation with the earliest compliance deadlineof beginning of FY26. The person performing this role is expected to possess strong understanding of the Sustainability Reporting standards published by the standard setters to determine the accuracy and appropriateness of the disclosures by HP. The role serves as a key advisor to senior management, analyzing financial results, and providing strategic recommendations. The role collaborates with the leadership as a strategic partner and also drives talent management activities.
Responsibilities


  • Manages a team of exempt individual contributors, supervisors and/or lower-level managers, that typically support large and complex business units or finance functions.
  • Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization.
  • Strong understanding of the sustainability disclosure landscape of HP and apply the disclosure requirements laid out in the standard in the most efficient manner.
  • Understanding and interpretation of the CSRD disclosure requirements laid out in the12 ESRS standards.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to validate the completeness and accuracy of the information provided by them for the disclosure reporting.
  • Build and create models that allow better analytics of information gathered from different stakeholders. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design. Identifies issues and proposes solutions
  • Collaborates with leadership as a strategic partner, influencing the future direction of the respective segment and aligning business and finance strategy to generate sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Applies expert subject matter knowledge, shapes knowledge base across businesses, functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership, driving change initiatives and monitoring performance goals.
  • Drives talent management, employee selection, succession planning, performance management, compensation management, employee development and coaching in career development, and operational management.


Education & Experience Recommended
 


  • Advanced accounting degree is a must (e.g., Chartered Accountant/ CPA) with 12 to 18 years of industry experience and atleast 3-5 years’ experience in Sustainability Reporting area.
  • Should be well versed with the sustainability standards issued by the standard setters like Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and others.
  • Thorough understanding of the proposed SEC rules relating to disclosure of climate relates risks in the financial statements
  • Willingness to understand complex system and processes within the company.
  • Proven ability to work on stringent deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, leadership and focused skills
  • Strong communication skills with good business acumen.
  • Good at stakeholder management
