We are seeking a dynamic professional with 12 to 15 Years of relevant leadership experience to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, strategic sourcing and procurement, with a proven ability to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The role involves travel to meet vendors & suppliers. Strong people management skills with experience in handling small to mid-sized teams. An engineering degree in any stream would be preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for End-to-end Supply chain (RM procurement to Shipment to customer)

  
  

• Oversee organization wide management of the strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services

  
  

• Develop and / or participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organization

  
  

• Lead and manage production planning, customer service, purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, transportation and other areas are required

  
  

• Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports

  
  

• Understand customers’ needs, service those needs, and maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to supply chain activities

  
  

• Coordinate the sales and operations planning process including supply / demand forecasting, inventory management, and on time delivery

  
  

• Manage and execute procurement related functions (e.g., develop and implement contract management and procurement frameworks, sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, draft and manage contracts, etc.) which includes Import & export & related regulations

  
  

• Direct and manage corporate governance and applicable regulatory compliances

  
  

• Stay informed of advances in supply chain technology and approaches, and apply within the organization to improve supply chain processes

  
  

• Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning, and other optimizations in order to grow the business

  
  

• Communicate values, business goals, and represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders

  
  

• Manage contractor and subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, developing performance specifications, and serving as a liaison with the organizations

  
  

• Identify potential projects to deliver changes and improvements to the supply chain and commission select projects

  
  

• Develop a robust reporting system

  
  

Must have Skills:

• Proven collaborative & leadership skills. Should have worked in a matrixed organization.

  
  

• Excellent communication skills – written, spoken, negotiation & influencing

  
  

• People management – the idea candidate should have managed small to mid-sized teams. Coach and develop budding talents. Conflict & stake holder management abilities.

  
  

Conversant in office 365, operations of an EPR (Epicor would be a huge plus),  Project Management software
