As Senior Manager, you will be Technology leader to Anchor (Single Point of Contact) multiple teams within Digital, Channel Services Pune with strong emphasis on collaboration with business and technology stakeholders spread across the globe. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction and ongoing operation and oversight of key technology deliveries, governance processes, streamlining, within the IT Infrastructure and Operations organization.  You would be performing below responsibilities –


Role Responsibilities


  • You will oversee a team of Managers, engineers and operations associates and lead the ongoing operation, enhancement and monitoring of KPIs. This includes monitoring on-going risks and providing resolutions, driving process improvements, resource planning & optimization and performance management.


  • Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude


  • Lead Teams and own Technical Deliveries for the Projects assigned, with high quality.


  • Identifies risks and mitigates them proactively. Drives efficiency and process improvements.


  • Resource planning & optimization and performance management


  • Develop and implement new software’s, maintain and improve existing software.


  • Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a with a focus on code optimization and organization. Recommend improvements to existing software programs.


  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.


  • Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure.


  • Provide coaching and mentoring to managers, sr. Associates, Associates, and Junior Associates.


  • Shall drive complex projects with focus on quality and stability. Apply Agile methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining unit test , code coverage and integration test coverage.


  • Strong knowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design and techniques


  • Knowledge of logical and physical database architectures and operating systems


  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results


  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with partners globally


Role Requirements


  • Overall 15+ years of experience, 10+ years of relevant software development experience and 3+ years of leadership experience with focus on high end delivery and leading teams for technology focused projects


Strong technical skills in the following areas –


  • Core Java


  • Spring and Spring Boot


  • API design and integration including REST, Soap, XML/JSON and Web API


  • Experience in architecting applications in Java and related technologies


  • Experience with object-relational mapping (ORM) and model-view-controller (MVC)


  • Design patterns


  • Experience in developing on Windows Linux/Unix platforms


  • Web and App server experience (Tomcat, Apache, WebLogic etc.)


  • Experience in BASH/SSH scripting


  • Experience with using latest engineering tools (eg. Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence,Git/Perforce)


  • Working exposure on Microservices framework and technologies


  • Working exposure on Application Security concepts (SSL, OAuth etc.,)
