This role is responsible for NPI / Transitions - Program Management to support 2X growth Site 4 Relocation for MSC ,ASG , Cargo &Lighting in 2025
Job Title:
Senior Manager - Quality Program
Job responsibilities:
Proactive Quality initiatives(PFMEA/PCP) and support NPI/Transitions.
Manages supplier Quality performance through prevention, monitoring / escalation processes,
Support MPR, ZDP, FAI, qualification, process control and improvement Initiatives
processing of supplier submission of NC material
Supplier onboarding and qualification / certification
Manages source insp & material release process
Performs escape management procedures, drive RCA, problem solving, recommends CA/PA for systematic supplier process & product materials
Proactively supports global supplier programs to ensure healthy CI & sustainability
Analyses quality data to identify systematic issues & develop supplier specific quality initiatives and proficient in managing supplier audits
Addressing key proactive quality tools (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plan, SPC etc) as well as driving their implementations
Ensures supplier is capable to meet all contract requirements including resourcing gate & APQP / PPAP / Work transfer acceptance
Anticipate and responds to business needs in support of long-term strategy for supplier base
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Production Engineering.
At least 15+ years’ experience in component / assembly Manufacturing environment with at least 8 years leading a team of Quality
Sound knowledge in the concept of Continuous Improvement and customer initiatives
Effective communication interpersonal skills
Good analytical technical problem-solving skills
Assertive yet tactful in approach
AS9100D Aviation QMS Auditor & EtQ
Customer requirements understanding
APQP / PPAP / MPR / MFP / ZDP / CORE
Understanding of various manufacturing & special processes and Digitalization tools
Knowledge of RRCA, analytics
FAI as per AS9102, Netinspect
Statistical analysis / Six Sigma is desirable
Good knowledge of Aeronautical systems
Understanding of Airworthiness certification regulations and standards
Stakeholder Management -
All VS Quality managers and leads, Programs Team
Global SBU, VS customer quality managers, VSLs
Operations, SCM, ME, logistics etc
External regulatory bodies and customers
Key Result Areas -
Customer PPM, RMAs, Major NC’s
Customer Get to Green plans, Regulatory Audits Plan Vs Actual
FAI’s for new programs / work transfers
Improvement projects, Implementation of ZDP, MPR, PPAP etc
