Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Manager to join its Corporate (HR & Professional Services) & Site Services (CSS) procurement team, which plays a critical role in enhancing strategic sourcing and procurement within the IS&O organization. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business,/Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in audit, project management. A strong background in working with senior executives and demonstrated success in large-scale organizational change initiatives is essential.


Candidates must exhibit exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. The role involves supporting sourcing management, overseeing strategic programs, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement across teams. Experience in utilizing data visualization tools and knowledge of procurement processes are highly desirable.


We aim to attract a self-directed, culturally aware individual who can manage multiple priorities effectively and drive continuous improvement. Preference will be given to candidates with international experience and proficiency in business intelligence tools.


What will you do in this role:


This position is with Corporate (HR & Professional Services) & Site Services part of the IS&O organization. Our global team aims to deliver superior performance to the organization in the areas of value creation, supplier management, and supplier risk mitigation through strategic sourcing initiatives for Human Resource Services, Professional Services and Site Services functions of the company. Some examples are through strategic partnering with the business, safely tapping supply markets for innovation, proactively managing key suppliers finding new Diverse solutions for our organization, mitigating supply risk, applying rigorous sourcing methodologies, and ensuring effective cost management.


CSS group is inclusive of:  HR Services: HR Operations, Talent management, External Workforce, US & International Benefits; Professional Services: Financial Services, Language Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Advisory Services, Legal and Payroll; Site Services: Integrated Facilities Management and Governance, Real Estate, Office Supplies and Furniture, Industrial Gases, Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO), and Archiving."


"The Senior Specialist Corporate (HR & Professional Services) & Site Services Lead – India Hub will contribute to the overall Corporate (HR & Professional Services) & Site Services organization with current and new business transformation projects, bringing the discipline, execution and implementation skills required to help implement the large number of initiatives being managed by the Corporate (HR & Professional Services) & Site Services Team, while helping to drive alignment to higher-level strategies, priorities, and initiatives within Indirect Sourcing & Operations (IS&O) , Technology Procurement as well as Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) & Global Workplace & Enterprise Services (GWES).


This role will work extensively with Corporate (HR& Professional Services) & Site Services and Technology Procurement colleagues in the region on strategic priorities. 


The ideal candidate should have an interest in learning Procurement processes and apply business skills to support also audit and data analysis needs for internal business partners.  "


Individual should be self-motivated and have a strong Service Mindset.  Also, having an Entrepreneurship approach understanding of our stakeholders, implementing focused practices.  Develop rapidly an in-depth Business Savviness to understand our business and applying it to our Procurement operations and strategic decisions, always coordinating with leadership and Stakeholders.


Primary capabilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Category Strategy – Utilizes industry best practices and internal spend trends to develop a robust category strategy that defines a multi-year plan, stakeholder business requirements, suppliers, risk mitigations and systems and tools to drive innovation and incremental value.
  • Business Outcome Orientation - Uses in-depth knowledge of stakeholder needs, future industry trends and standards and proactively provides market intelligence to identify and tailor Global Procurement activities that positively affect stakeholder relationships and decision-making.
  • Category & Technical Expertise - Applies in-depth category specific/technical knowledge to propose recommendations to enhance existing and/or introduce new procurement processes or client service capabilities that incorporate emerging category trends
  • Change Management - Manages change management activities, identifies issues, and makes necessary adjustments to keep the activities on track and on course; Identifies comprehensive group of stakeholders from across the entire business and at appropriate senior levels to drive support for project/initiative; Builds support for proposed solutions by influencing through others and making the case for change personally relevant
  • End to End Supply Chain - Applies knowledge of the interdependencies within our company and across the supply chain to execute sourcing, procurement, and Supplier Performance Management Process decisions that drive sustainable competitive advantage for our company.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management - Manages complex agreements such as joint development of agreements across regional boundaries and across multiple business units to ensure value and reduced risks for our company.  Deep knowledge in legal contractual language as they relate to MSA (Master Services Agreement) and Task Orders.
  • Sourcing Management Process - Drive competitive sourcing events (RFQs, RFIs, RFPs) and support vendor selection, commercial negotiation and contracting, and market awareness.
  • Supply Market Expertise - Leverages knowledge of historical and current business trends in the broader marketplace and pharmaceutical space, and their impact on particular product or service category pricing, material availability and supply chain issues to validate the sourcing decisions. Provide external marketplace knowledge of the latest category dynamics, trends and best practices.
  • Productive Communication - Build relationships with key the business partners to successfully drive and influence strategies. Ensure effective collaboration with key senior stakeholders across geographies
  • Supplier Relationship Management - Supporting and implementing Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers to foster innovation, manage supplier performance, support a Governance Model, and optimize supplier capabilities to address business requirements. Developing and maintaining supplier performance metrics and manage the feedback process. 
  • Diversity and Inclusion - Actively support diversity, both within our Company as well as expanding relationships and spend with Diverse Partners. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for increasing opportunities for Diverse Suppliers.
  • Process Optimization - Drives continuous improvement opportunities for Global Procurement and business stakeholders based on deep knowledge of the interdependencies across the supply chain and business organization; Demonstrates the ability to work with business units to enhance their business strategy through the consideration and appropriate inclusion of externalization as a strategic lever.
  • Category Experience: We are looking for experience candidates having indepth knowledge of managing Corporate (HR & Professional Services) & Site Services Candidates

Qualifications


Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Procurement related area


What should you have:


  • Procurement – 7+ years Global Procurement / Global Strategic Sourcing or global business management (Consulting, Finance, HR, Facilities) experience.
  • Technical – Indirect Procurement Global Category Management knowledge, including global experience in Professional Services.
  • Deep expertise in Category Strategy Development, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management and Project Management and Execution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
  • Proficiency in using Enterprise System such as SAP Ariba and Fieldglass
