Role Purpose:
To support the delivery of reliable, on time, efficient and high-quality data analytics solutions by means of data quality assurance activities, that will enable the organization to make faster and more informed decisions.
Designation: HR Data Analyst
Base Location: Navi Mumbai
Reporting to: Deputy General Manager
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Accuracy: Accurately enter data into HR systems, maintain employee information, and ensure all work complies with defined global standards and compliance processes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality is rigorously tested and approved before release to the head office, and monitor data ingestion, error detection, and issue resolution for data lake projects. Facilitate the administration of the HRIS system, ensuring timely updates and accuracy. Execute own work according to set operating procedures service level agreements.
- Data Auditing and Monitoring and Transformation: Clean, transform, and validate HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity. Regularly audit HR data for accuracy and compliance, monitor for anomalies, and take corrective actions as needed to maintain data integrity.
- Collaboration and Metrics: Work with HR teams and head office to identify key metrics and data needs, maintaining accurate all HR data elements.
- Privacy and Confidentiality: Ensure data privacy and confidentiality standards are upheld while handling sensitive HR data and managing data access authorizations according to set global privacy controls.
- Support and Training: Provide technical guidance and informal training to end-users, handle initial data correction escalations, and support the team to achieve goals and targets.
- Compliance and Governance: Adhere to all corporate governance, procedures, legal, and statutory requirements while executing tasks according to set procedures and service agreements.
- Error Resolution: Actively participate in error detection and issue resolution as part of the daily operations of data projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to data hygiene and improvement tasks by providing data-gap analysis.
Skills & Competencies:
- Up to 2 years of work experience in a similar role
- Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or similar role, with expertise in HR data analysis.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their data structures, including data extraction and data mapping. Track record of success in working with data, undertaking analysis, and providing reports to senior stakeholders including experience or understanding of data preparation, cleaning and transformation of data into clear, readable analysis.
- GDPR Awareness.
- Organized to complete work timely and accurately.
- Excellent Excel skills with proficiency in MS-Office suites.
- Proficient with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar (e.g., Tableau).
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy in handling and analyzing HR data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple global projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively with diverse people from all geographies.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and confidentiality.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science or equivalent
