Responsibilities


  • Proactively handle all employee relations issues with staff and management at Kochi Location
  • Keep up-to-date on applicable HR legislation and make recommendations for enhancements to employee handbooks and Policies
  • Drive the processes at the location to administer the new hire process including references, documentation management and onboarding
  • Partner with the stakeholders across regions (Managers and above) to coach, discipline and develop employees in their team
  • Work with Managers on goal development and tracking for employees
  • Ability to work in a Global HR Team structure and lead certain Global P&C Projects
  • Work with Legal team on development of contracts, policies and all employment law matters
  • Manage exit process including terminations, exit interview and all documentation
  • Manage Health & Safety initiatives at the Site level
  • Liaison and partner with various vendors and participate in the growth of the Kochi Office
  • Administration and enhancement of existing HR programs and policies and framework
  • Develop, implement and administer new HR programs
  • Assist with the development and promotion of the SOTI Employer Brand and Value Proposition, both internally and externally
  • Work with leadership on process improvements and facilitating changes  and engage in Statutory Audits etc.
  • Work with members of the HR team on learning and development initiatives, talent acquisition events and projects and other projects as assigned

Qualifications


  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 12+ Years of Human Resources experience in a Product IT Organization.
  • Effective people manager and ability to drive performance and results.
  • Hold good cultural understanding of a Global IT Organization and can adapt to the pace of execution and can multitask
  • Experience with HRIS, strong preference for Workday
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of organizational change, culture transformation process and change management
  • Ability to prioritize high volume of projects
  • Ability to manage and complete tasks from start to finish
