Role

Timely and Accurate performance of financials & budgets / forecasts.


Partner Market Financial Analyst role supporting VCPS. Driving business performance through analysis and insight to meet and exceed financial targets and optimize business processes.


Working closely with regional finance teams (VCPS), this role provides support to Partner Market’s financial results establishing and maintaining effective processes, supporting commercial decision-making, and providing insight into customer profitability.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Engage and leads the team to effectively reach the operational targets
• Build relationships with stakeholders and acts as first point of escalation
• Set controls and drive process improvements to maximise efficiency
• Manage team of apprx 5-6 employees as individual contributors     
• Manage performance of team, set targets, evaluate results
• Foster collaboration in the team and with teams in Finops and LM FP&A
• Perform the activities of FP&A as individual contributor & team lead
Key performance indicators:


• Monthly reporting of all of team activity
• Internal and external representation of the team
• SLA and KPI performance
• Team members to receive relevant training, coaching and support
• Effective controls in place for Legal/ Audit and actions taken to address audit requirement
• Closing of books & submission of budgets & forecasts on time with accuracy

•    Working collaboratively with Fin Ops to ensure the accurate and timely production of month end results
•    Provide commentary to budget and forecasts to understand variances at a customer level and understand the underlying drivers of the variances. Report and act as ‘translator’ with timely financial and commercial insights and analysis to articulate performance to Business Leads and provide guidance to Sales teams on targeted commitments required to deliver financial targets
•    Provide baseline forecasting into the business partners within the regions, working closely with relevant teams (commercial in life, contract accountants, sales leads etc)
•    Deliver monthly and quarterly forecasts and yearly budget, challenge business Leads on appropriate performance targets, advise on planning assumptions, opportunities and risks, and track gaps. 
•    Input and review monthly Billing information to the billing team for all charges to partners closely coordinating with the Finance Business Partner for Partner Market
•    Lead production of detailed regional reports to enable Regional heads to understand their performance and support tracking of mitigation actions.
•    Understand cost of sales processes and levers to drive improvement initiatives, working cross functionally utilising all available resources

    Interact with Commercial Finance (VFUK and Group) and support in explanation of finance results
    Maintain collaborative working relationships with immediate team, wider FinOps teams, business finance, FP&A, and regional sales & FP&A team

    Be proactive to drive continuous process improvement to create further efficiencies within the role in order to meet challenging objectives

•    Experience working in a multi-functional and complex corporate matrix environment

    CA / CWA with minimum 8-12 years of experience of  FP&A experience
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Must ideally have experience of similar activity of 3 years of team management skill of minimum 5 years
•    Computer skills (Word and advanced Excel), SAP/S4 Hana knowledge must
•    Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills 
•    Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and concepts along with data gathering and diagnosis ability
•    Independency at work with a self-starter, proactive attitude with accuracy, attention to detail
•    Experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage 
•    Able to work in within tight deadlines and stressful environment
