JLL Business Services (JBS)


JBS is JLL’s global Shared Services platform, delivering operations from capability Centers in India, the Philippines, China, Poland, Costa Rica, and the US. Our purpose is to deliver high-quality services, reduce costs, and increase JLL’s margins. As operations and capability experts, we focus on understanding and improving processes to ensure effective operational delivery that meets the needs of the business and our clients.


Our team and this role:  


Operations, Governance & Optimization (OGO) is the oil in the engine of JBS. The team works together to design, build, and manage the systems that drive outcomes for JBS, support transparency in our engagements with the business, and enable us to demonstrate efficiency at scale. The JBS Knowledge Management Program (KM@JBS) encompasses the strategy behind how we create, organize, use, govern, and share the knowledge within our organization.


This Senior Manager will work with Leadership to design, deploy and maintain a robust, adaptable KM framework across all the businesses we support and will work with our technology partners to leverage a technology solution (SharePoint) and design, build, and manage the governance framework for JBS.


What your day-to-day will look like:  


  • Contributes to strategy and program design for KM@JBS.
  • Defines and leads the roadmap deployment of the program with tech support.
  • Builds and maintains the KM@JBS governance model.
  • Works closely with SPOCs and Content Managers to ensure governance adherence across all Operations teams in JBS.
  • Works with a SharePoint Developer to establish and maintain the right content hierarchy in the technology solution
  • Establishes and reports metrics and designs analysis based on the collected data to help improve the program.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive program documentation, including framework documentation and related policies, and procedures.
  • Designs and provides training, coaching, and resources related to the program.
  • Works collaboratively with Ops and PF&A to ensure data integrity for program metrics.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert in KM for Operations.

Experience and technical skills:


  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelors in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership.
  • Experience leading large global KM programs.
  • Proven experience with SharePoint design as part of KM leadership programs
  • In-depth understanding of KM practices, tools and technology, specifically SharePoint.
  • Evidence of problem-solving analytical mindset and comfort with business ambiguity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Teams.
  • Ability to manage work-related projects and timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams in a global corporate environment.
  • Experience working across all levels within an organization.
  • Experience managing change while delivering on client expectations.
