We are looking for a Senior Manager, IT Data & Analytics to join our IT team in Bangalore, reporting to the senior director of IT. In this role, you will lead a team of senior engineers with broad experience in modern data and technology infrastructure and data science. Your primary focus will be developing and empowering engineers on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions that support our business objectives using cloud platforms. You will also collaborate with the data product manager, business intelligence team manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility, leading data-driven decision making across the organization. You are the ideal candidate if you are a results-driven troubleshooter and collaborator who operates independently. What you’ll do:
Lead and manage a team of senior engineers, providing mentorship and guidance
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data architecture and technology infrastructure
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the data platform
Collaborate with the product manager and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and empower the team to translate them into technical solutions
Help develop and implement data governance policies and best practices
Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data management and analytics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Data team
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
15+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on data and technology platforms
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams
Solid knowledge in data modeling, database design, and ETL processes
Proficiency in SQL, Columnar databases, and data warehousing solutions
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Familiarity with business intelligence tools, including Tableau and Power BI
Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
Oustanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
