Job Description: ORMB Functional Consultant
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled ORMB Functional Consultant to join our team. As an ORMB Functional Consultant / Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading ORMB implementations and designing solutions in the billing and pricing management domain. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective ORMB solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Leveraging your experience to lead ORMB implementations as a solution architect.
- Utilize your expertise in ORMB Product and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) to design and customize solutions for pricing management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and develop project scope and functional specification documents.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify areas where custom solutions are required and create functional design documents and solution blueprints.
- Design inbound/outbound interfaces to integrate ORMB with upstream and downstream applications.
- Manage system configurations to align with business requirements and ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct conference room pilots to demonstrate product functionalities, both base and custom solutions.
- Perform functional testing and support testing teams in various phases of implementation, including SIT, UAT, performance, parallel, and regression testing.
- Provide end-user training to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the ORMB system.
- Work with developers and 3rd party vendors to ensure requirement specifications are understood and followed.
- Issue resolution/escalation including prioritization and tracking.
Qualifications:
- Over 7 to 10 years of overall experience in ORMB/CC&B in the billing and pricing management domain.
- Strong expertise in ORMB implementation, with at least X years of experience as a solution architect.
- Prior experience with ORMB Product and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- In-depth knowledge of pricing functionalities and solution design for various pricing models.
- Proven experience in end-to-end revenue management and billing business requirements, gap analysis, product customization, and interface design and development.
- Excellent knowledge of the P&C business and familiarity with a broad spectrum of Insurance applications
- Ability to lead and guide cross-functional teams in solution design and implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze business requirements and create custom solutions in ORMB.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in conducting business user trainings and facilitating knowledge transfer.
