The Finance COE Leader for Cytiva is responsible for Leading a team of 39 Finance professionals who own multiple aspects of the financial reporting processes and support analytics across the Finance organization.

This position is part of the India COE located in Bangalore and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage and mentor a team of 30 associates and 9 contingent workers on site (including 6 people leaders with a solid reporting line).  Through the tasks and deliverables assigned to the COE team, support in the execution of Danaher weekly, monthly, quarterly close, forecasting, and budgeting deliverables without delays.
• Liaise with Finance partners across the organization as required, based on the support that the COE team provides to their areas. Ensure service levels are adequate and performance expectations are met. Coordinate ad-hoc analytics based on business needs
• Support with headcount tracking and forecasting activities across the global Cytiva organization.
• Focus on continuous process improvement automation and standard work creation. Leverage DBS to optimize and continuously improve processes and systems, including support in developing and executing strategies to improve forecast accuracy in commercial and cost metrics.
• Maintain timely HR protocols for the local team (e.g. hiring and onboarding, P4G / D4G setting and tracking, mid-year reviews, training agenda). Keep turnover below 5% along with maintaining adequate engagement across the local team through successful implementation of engagement survey actions. Foster and nurture a healthy team culture on-site, including adherence to future of work guidelines.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or equivalent knowledge or experience with demonstrated progressive financial experience, including finance leadership experience (management of offshore finance support teams highly desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems (Oracle Bioprod, SAP and OneStream preferred).
• Strong analytic skills, proven ability to summarize complex data sets into key takeaways for the senior leadership team along with a clear ability to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and create positive outcomes
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, adapt to changing priorities, and execute ad hoc requests.
