This is the top engineering role at the group level. Responsible for evaluating requirements and directing engineering activities associated with product design, development, and modification. Recommends and supervises expansion and modernization of manufacturing facilities.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’sormaster’sdegreeinengineering,(Mechanical,Electrical,Electronics, ComputerScience,orarelatedfield);MBAorequivalentmanagementdegreeisanadded advantage
  • 15-20yearsofexperiencemanagingandleadingdiverseengineeringteamswithmulti-domain expertise, preferably in an MNC environment
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with counterparts in the U.S. and Europe.
  • Proventrackrecordofbalancingin-houseprojectexecutionwithoutsourcedmodels, including selecting and managing outsourcing partners.
  • Demonstrated skills in people management, team building, and organizational leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch and promote the GIC’s services effectively.
  • Proficiencyinhandlingbudgets,resourceallocation,andoperationalplanningforlarge, multi-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Project Allocation:
    • Determine project execution strategies, deciding which projects should be managed in- house versus those suitable for outsourcing, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Buildandsustainstrongrelationshipswithkeystakeholders,includingU.S.and Europeancounterparts,topromotecollaborationandstrategicalignmentacross geographies.
    • ActasanadvocatefortheGIC’scapabilities,effectivelycommunicatingvalueand pitching services to global stakeholders to secure support and project buy-in.
  • Entrepreneurship:
    • Lead each business unit or function as an entrepreneur.
    • Develop and grow your businesses in alignment with GIC’s strategy and vision
    • Deliver maximum value back to Marmon
    • Drive data driven decision making process in the collective interest of business and our people
  • People & Organizational Leadership:
    • Lead,mentor,andgrowamulti-domain,multi-skilledteamofengineers,fosteringa culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
    • Overseeworkforceplanning,talentacquisition,anddevelopmenteffortstoestablish high-performing teams, both for ongoing operations and newbusiness opportunities.
