Job Summary:


Seeking a candidate with 4 to 8 years of experience for an operations role in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) – Category II. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the SEBI AIF regulations and an ability to support investment management and sales teams, oversight of fund accounting and other support activities


Key Responsibilities:


Investment Management support


  • Reconciliation of deal cashflows (primary/secondary deals and periodic cashflows)
  • Coordination with Issuer/ Debenture trustee for deal execution and documentation
  • Provide support for periodic performance reporting to Investors

Fund Operations:


  • Supervise fund accounting for Category II AIFs, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Prepare and file regulatory reports and disclosures, and ensure accurate financial statements
  • Manage AIF taxation, including compliance, reporting, and timely tax return filing
  • Liaise with custodians, fund accountants, auditors, and manage audit completion
  • Oversee operations relating to trade processing, settlements, and reconciliations

Sales support


  • Maintaining MIS for sales management
  • Ensure brokerage calculations are correct and the payouts are timely
  • Coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications


  • Chartered Accountant (CA), or MBA(fin) with 3-5 years of experience in Category II AIFs
  • Strong understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements for AIFs
