Summary of the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Engineer specializing in Software Verification with a strong focus on Manual Testing. The successful candidate oversee the manual testing processes, ensuring that software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of software development life cycles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of software testers. Healthcare experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and product owners, to ensure alignment on testing strategies and objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Manual Testing
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Ensure thorough regression testing is conducted for all software releases and updates.
Quality Assurance
Develop and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices for software verification.
Conduct risk assessments and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and requirements.
Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and defect resolution.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with software developers to understand product architecture and design, ensuring effective test coverage.
Communicate testing results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing insights on testing timelines and resource requirements.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in software verification and manual testing.
Currently leading the efforts for software verification.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of testers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
