Summary


Join SAP Sales Cloud v2 as a Senior Java Developer and play a pivotal role in the development of our state-of-the-art, cloud-native microservice architecture. Our platform leverages cutting-edge, open-source technologies such as Java, Angular, Kubernetes (K8s), Kafka, MongoDB, and Elastic Search to deliver exceptional scalability and performance.


The re-platforming from SAP Sales Cloud v1 to v2 ushers in new technological advancements and standards within the CRM software ecosystem. This transformation prioritizes high availability, enhanced performance, and an API-first approach to foster agility and flexibility. The solution adopts an event-driven microservice architecture.


The team you will join is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of various microservices that support multiple business processes within SAP Sales Cloud v2, such as Retail Execution scenarios like Dynamic Visit Management (visit planning application), Activity Management, Sales Campaign Management, and Promotion management. Additionally, the team contributes to many foundational services, including Data Connectors (for SAP Sales Cloud v2's integration with external systems), Spatial, Business Expression Engine, I18N, Audit Logs, Application Logs, and others critical for business microservices.


What you'll do


  • Microservice Design & Implementation:
    • Design and develop microservices to address business use cases for SAP Sales Cloud v2 and/or technical/foundation microservices.
    • Utilize open-source frameworks in the implementation of microservices.
  • Collaboration & Quality:
    • Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Collaborate with architects to develop detailed designs for complex problems.
    • Leverage your knowledge of software design patterns and architectural patterns to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • End-to-End Lifecycle Management:
    • Participate in the entire lifecycle of microservices, from development and testing to writing automation scripts and maintenance.
    • Ensure continuous delivery of cloud services.

What you bring


  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a solid background in computer science.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
    • Strong experience with microservice architecture.
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
    • Proficiency with MongoDB.
    • Knowledge of design patterns and their application in software design.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
