Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent, specializing in full-stack software engineering
7+ years’ experience in supporting development of production-ready solutions leveraging data engineering
Working knowledge of Java and Python.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Advanced working SQL and NoSQL knowledge, experience working with relational databases (e.g., RDS, Oracle, Postgres) and document databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Cosmos DB) on the cloud
Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS or Azure) and containers (Docker) for solution delivery
Experience working with agile and Software Development Lifecycle tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git, CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience with search engines (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch) a plus
Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka a plus
Expertise in Python open-source libraries and tools such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, Flask, etc a plus
