About the department


The position is based in Digital Workplace product area department, part of Global IT Operations (GITO). The GITO Digital Workplace APAC Collaboration Tech department is a self-propelled unit based out of Bangalore, India working in an agile setup with global product teams for various digitalisation, communication, collaboration, and automation IT platforms. The growing team constitutes of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical and Business Analysts who work together with our Danish and US team to cater to Digital workplace requirements for Novo Nordisk employees. As an area we are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Power Platform, Novo Nordisk Meeting experience and collaboration technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms and devices. Together we focus on how to build a great digital workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.


The Position


As a Senior IT Architect at Novo Nordisk, you will work on development features and stories as part of the Digital Workplace agile product delivery team. Design and implement Power Platform’s administration and governance components, including environment strategy, Dataverse, DLP Policies, Connectors, and Gateway infrastructures. Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve governance and plan larger implementations of projects in LOBs (Such as Process Mining, RPA, AI Builder, Copilot Studio and any future Power Platform product features). Act as a Subject Matter Expert point of contact for various stakeholders, providing expertise and advisory to Azure Cloud, Network, and IT security stakeholders. You will be entrusted with below role & responsibilities:


  • Perform periodic security risk assessments and remediation solutions to ensure security and compliance. Test and implement new features from Microsoft, providing communication and training to App developers and support the organization.
  • Drive onboarding, architecture, governance, and production setup activities for new platform features (e.g. Power Automate Desktop).Support the Product Owner with technical insight for Power Platform’s product vision and roadmap.
  • Stay curious and analyse new features from Microsoft, providing feedback for potential improvement areas. Build integrations from Power Platform to various cloud and on-premises systems, considering security and data privacy.
  • Debug and remove loopholes in case of any unexpected data breach/data loss events. Provide technical advisory and expertise in qualifying Power Platform services for GXP use.
  • Continuously improve operations model and SLA for Power Platform in collaboration with the Service Manager.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors’ or Masters in relevant field with min 12+ years of experience with IT.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Service/product organization in technical Subject Matter Expert/Architect role.3+ years’ experience in technical advisory, roadmap, and strategy execution.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Administration & Governance of Power Platform in a global tenant setup including multiple geographies. Strong working experience and act as SME with technical hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse. Understanding and hand-on experience with Azure services and how they can be leveraged for Power platform governance.
  • Basic understanding about corporate infrastructure and Azure Virtual networks in relation to Power Platform. Extensive experience in Incident, Problem, or Change Management, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with a wide range of users on different organisational and technical competency levels.
  • Preference for experience with AWS and Azure public cloud services.
  • Experience with Azure App Insight, Azure Synapse, and Purview is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate Desktop, RPA, Process Mining, Managed Environments, and ALM Pipelines is advantageous.
