A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a detail-oriented Application & Data Documentation Architect to manage the collection, review, and organization of critical documentation across various domains of our application and data landscape. This role will ensure that all documentation meets high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance, supporting the overall architecture and governance efforts within our organization

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinate with various stakeholders to collect documentation related to the application and infrastructure overview, data architecture, integrations, functionality, support processes, and information repositories.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to content creators to improve the quality and clarity of the documentation.
• Ensure that backup, disaster recovery (DR), and scaling strategies are thoroughly documented and up-to-date.
• Oversee the organization and management of the documentation repository, ensuring easy access to knowledgebase articles, password management, access management, and audit/governance documentation.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Library Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system architecture, documentation management, technical writing, or a similar role.
• Experience with documentation management tools and systems.
• Knowledge of metadata frameworks and content management practices
• Strong understanding of application and data architecture concepts.
• Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills.
• Experience and knowledge of Manufacturing shopfloor applications – OEE, MES, SPC, CMMS etc. a plus.
