The configuration analyst will


  • Be responsible for implementing Darwin by configuring it to meet our Client requirements.
  • Perform requirements analysis/gap analysis, identify requirement gaps
  • Consult/support Business Analyst/Consultant to finalize client requirements and benefit design by providing inputs on Darwin capability
  • Support team in req understanding—preempt questions – follow best practice of using BDS evaluation checklist
  • Create Work Packages with effort estimation and assign to the team
  • Perform peer review and offer guidance on High complexity configuration
  • Provide Just in time feedback to the team
  • Ensure process compliance
  • Ensure Unit Testing is performed before the task is assigned to QA
  • Support in Client Acceptance Testing
  • Be expected to share knowledge both on an ad-hoc basis with other team members or as part of a post project review. May be asked to knowledge sharing and buddy new team members after 6-12 months experience.
  • Support team in understanding workarounds for complex scenarios
  • Oversee pre-UAT, UAT and pre-live checks.
  • Support the data load process – prepare team to test on live data
  • Drive Project closure connects –with Data
  • Manage Learning and best practices library for continuous process improvement on confluence

Duties & Responsibilities:  


Darwin™ Knowledge


  • Need to have solid understanding of benefits and how these are built on Darwin.
  • Understand end-end benefit administration processes including interfacing on Darwin.
  • Be able to perform simple/medium level complexity configuration tasks with no guidelines or supervision;
  • Able to design, build and perform unit testing on medium outbound and inbound interface (EG: Payroll report for a Client, provider report for a Client)
  • Perform peer review and offer guidance on Simple complexity configuration to other configuration specialists
  • Configure and schedule standard provider reports, perform simple branding and other simple-medium tasks  as defined in the ‘Darwin Core Skills’ matrix

Software Development Life Cycle internal process


  • Perform unit testing of all configuration assigned in due time
  • Accountable for all assigned project’s work packages being progressed towards the Kanban Board in project timelines
  • Actively supports the UAT phase of a project to ensure successful completion under the guidance of a more senior team member

Communication


  • Input in meetings: Produces clear actions/minutes from meetings and circulates accordingly (where required)

  • New topics: be able to perform research of any work related topics for projects or meetings using internal tools
  • Seeks out opportunities for self to be assigned to different projects to demonstrate and develop new and existing skills
  • Seeks development by reaching to a mentor or colleagues who can provide advice, direction and share insights on various parts of the projects you are assigned
  • Actively attend team trainings: Service Delivery Specific Trainings, Darwin™ related knowledge session, Technology product updates
  • Prove responsibility for own development: keep objectives tracker updated, ask 360 feedback from colleagues as agreed with line manager, keep Darwin skills tracker updated, identify new areas to develop

Skills Required:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • An eye for detail – good logical and numerical reasoning
  • Fast learner with the ability to pick up new tasks quickly

Domain


  • Sound understanding of Health benefits and end-end benefit administration processes including interfacing on Darwin

Process/Project Management


  • Sound knowledge of SDLC/STLC concepts
  • Knowledge of Workflow tools(preferably Jira)/Defect Management/RCA 
  • Understanding of Agile Environment using Kanban Methodology

Added Advantage


  • Basic HTML skills
  • Good data manipulation skills in Excel
