What you will do
• Conception and design of SAP AI-powered architectures: Leverage your expertise in cutting-edge technologies and trends to make critical design decisions for scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions.
• Drive innovation through development of AI applications on the SAP BTP, using your technical expertise to improve processes and deliver impactful results for customers on their journeys to cloud and next generation processes infused by SAP business AI.
• Embrace a culture of automation by developing innovative solutions to ensure stable and scalable AI-based cloud services.
• Propose design decisions regarding underlying architecture for the backend.
• Be a champion for problem-solving: Approach challenges with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, always seeking the most efficient and effective approach.
• Collaborate with cross-board and cross-functional teams
• Embrace a growth mindset and being open to learning new technologies and software development practices as they emerge, with a focus on generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-augmented development, and relevant tools.
What you bring
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience building scalable and resilient distributed systems using cloud technologies such as SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Practical knowledge of Clean Code principles, SOLID Principles, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Good understanding of Relational databases, NoSQL databases, and database design.
• Proficiency with modern web APIs and data serialization formats, including RESTful API design, oData or GraphQL is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
• A strong desire to continuously learn and stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in software development, particularly in areas like generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-augmented tools.
• A passion for process improvement and user experience enhancement, with a focus on driving efficiency and innovation.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English
