Job Summary:We are seeking passionate, and enthusiastic software developers to join the software teams at Siemens. - Develop intuitive, attractive, and usable interface in cooperation with UI designers
- Design new features to address customer use cases in existing markets
- Work closely with product management and with customers to understand how products could be more effective, and put those insights into action
- Identify opportunities for system improvements that can enhance the operation of the entire end-to-end system
- Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team spanning hardware, software, cloud development and product management.
Candidate Profile:- 6+ years of professional experience in software development in the below areas:
- Good experience writing code in JavaScript (typescript knowledge in addition is plus), HTML, CSS for user interfaces spanning mobile and web
- Hands on experience developing production-grade applications using React JS
- Understanding – web service development and Rest APIs
- Knowledge of multi-tier architectures across multiple technology.
- Database Engines – MySQL / Postgres
- Testing Frameworks – Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, Cypress
- Know-hows of unit testing and experience writing quality unit test cases (experience in Test Driven Development is huge plus)
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Good grasp of software architecture
- Server-side development with Node.js or Java for 2+ years is preferable- and good to have
Experience with one or many of the following tools- SCM - Git, Bitbucket, Gitlab
- IDEs - IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code
- CI/CD – Jenkins, Gitlab CI
- Others – Jira, Docker
It is highly desirable that the candidate possess one or more of the following:- Cloud development experience in GCP, AWS, Azure
- Experience building complex, scalable, high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, and reliable applications on cloud
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages like C# or Python is a plus
- Knowledge of Front-end frameworks AngularJS is a plus
- Mobile application development using React Native is a huge plus
