How will you make an impact in this role?
The Rewards Controllership organization is part of the Global Controllership organization and is responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting of Global Rewards expense and the related liabilities, which represents two of the largest financial statement lines of the company.
This position is a key member of the Global Rewards Center of Excellence. The Incumbent will be responsible for calculating and ensuring the accuracy of rewards expense/liabilities, data analysis, and reporting of key rewards program financial drivers. This position will work closely with members of the Global Rewards Finance team as well as various other businesses groups to support the control and integrity of the accounting for the US MR program. This is a unique opportunity to work within one of the core parts of the American Express business and brand.
An understanding of American Express financial systems, operational and technical accounting, internal controls, and overall business acumen will be key success factors along with strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
