Amazon's India Stores Finance team is seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to drive financial performance and strategic growth in our Marketplace Finance division. This pivotal role combines leadership, business partnership, analytics, and financial stewardship to support Amazon's mission of being the world's most customer-centric company.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Partner with business leadership to provide strategic guidance and analytical support
Evaluate and prioritize new business ideas to drive innovation and growth
Lead the financial planning process and assume primary P&L responsibility
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams including Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, FP&A, Accounting, and Shared Services
Engage effectively with external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Financial Management and Reporting:
Ensure robust operational controls, administrative procedures, and reporting systems
Drive financial strength and operating efficiency while supporting rapid business growth
Team Leadership and Development:
Hire, develop, and retain top talent within the finance organization
Provide leadership, management, and vision to the team
- 12+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 12+ years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience
- 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 8+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
- 8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 10+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 10+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- MBA, or CPA
