Drives the delivery of effective financial management, control and advisory support for Business Unit and projects/contracts. Supports the production of financial budgets, forecasts and analysis.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading a finance team of 3.
Providing objective challenge regarding the operations and commercial environment of the business and take a proactive role in looking for opportunities to deliver corporate functions and client services efficiently and effectively.
Identifying efficiencies and developing and proposing solutions and options to resolve/progress concerns to a satisfactory outcome.
Maintaining strong relationship with key internal stakeholders including the India business lead, the APAC regional finance director and the UK corporate finance team.
Maintaining strong relationship with key clients and ensuring smooth and compliant invoicing process.
Driving and managing client debt and cash recovery within payment terms.
Being able to prepare tax computations and file returns.
Communicating and cooperating with external tax, GST, accounting, and legal consultants.
Preparing calculations, income and social taxes and other necessary adjustments.
Acting as point of contact for all payroll related queries.
Working under tight deadlines to provide accurate and monthly reporting packs to Mace international finance.
Budgeting and monthly forecasting, including cash flow forecasts.
Overviewing, analysis, and quality control of commercial, financial and management reports.
Preparing commercial/bid support to project directors as required.
Ensuring project/commercial teams have project workbooks in place and review the same monthly with project teams.
Timely/responsive and accurate feedback to queries from Mace international finance head office.
Leading the year-end close.
Leading the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.
You’ll need to have:
Experience in managing a team of direct reports, demonstrating effective leadership to ensure excellence in delivery championing a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities. Proven team management skills and ability to manage, delegate, motivate and involve direct reports.
Ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop common sense, practical solutions to deliver high quality output to tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting.
Experience in international finance and commercial environment.
Experience in the use of computer software products including Microsoft word.
Professional knowledge in financial accounting, corporation tax, income tax, GST.
