Senior Facility Manager
What this job involves:
As a Senior Facility Manager at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. In this position, you'll lead and oversee facility management operations, ensuring optimal performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of our clients' properties. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, both locally and across the globe, to deliver innovative solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. What your day-to-day will look like:
• Develop and implement comprehensive facility management strategies aligned with client objectives
• Lead and mentor a team of facility management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Oversee budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting for assigned facilities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness
• Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact
• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in facility management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and industry regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• IFMA Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience managing diverse property portfolios in multiple locations
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM)
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in smart buildings and IoT
• Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies
• Additional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or OSHA
