Job Description: Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Purchase

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Purchase to join our MAM Division in Delhi. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of technical specifications for medical equipment and spare parts, along with a proven track record in vendor development and negotiation. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with service engineers and stakeholders from diverse technical backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Knowledge: Possess in-depth understanding of technical specifications for medical equipment and spare parts.
Vendor Development: Develop new vendors for spare parts and refurbished equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration: Interface with service engineers to ascertain material specifications and needs, resolving technical issues promptly.
Source Development: Identify and develop reliable sources for repairing spares, leveraging excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating smooth procurement processes and technical issue resolution.
Adaptability: Stay updated with new technologies and processes, demonstrating the ability to learn and adapt quickly to changes.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Educational Background: B. Tech/BE or a 3-year Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Biomedical. A postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in vendor development for spare parts.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and technical expertise.
Technical Adaptability: Proven ability to learn new technologies and processes, and adapt to change.
Additional Information:
- This position is based in Delhi and may require occasional travel to meet with vendors and service engineers.
- The role demands a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
