Responsibilities may include following other duties may assigned
- Tests the functionality and performance of medical device software systems and software applications.
- Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications.
- Create test reports used for regulatory submissions.
- Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meets technical and functional requirements.
- Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements.
- Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.
- Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others.
- Identifies and encourages areas for growth and improvement.
- Continues to strengthen industry knowledge and use that knowledge to improve the quality of our products.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Scienceor a related technical field with 8+ years of engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded and software system testing.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems hardware and software architectures.
- Familiarity with programming languages C, C++
- Strong understanding of embedded systems hardware and software architectures.
- Experience with scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python)
